The
Argyle Academy was founded by Mike Lowery as an outlet
for his handmade cards, shirts and books with Lionel the Vampire
Cat
and his friends. Mike's work has been seen in Print Magazine, Readymade,
Little Engines, the Washington Post (arts section, of course), TimeOut
Beijing, the upcoming PICTOPLASMA Encyclopedia, NEOMU, and other
publications as well as galleries across the United States and abroad.There
was even a great feature article about him in The Washington City
Paper where he told of his birth, which was aboard a tiny ship sailing
from Norway to the United States.
