I'm headed to Japan this thursday, so I've been practicing a few very useful japanese phrases (such as the above statement).

two new books coming soon from BILINGUAL READERS

For the past few months, I've been working with the Madrid based publisher, Bilingual Readers, on two upcoming books. The publisher's goal is to create books, puzzles and other fun stuff for kids who live in bilingual homes. I have started a new line with them called "Two Little Libros" and the first set (jungle/sea animals) will be out in October. Check out their other great books and blog: BILINGUAL READERS.

all trash was disposed of properly

A few nights ago I went camping (actually an excuse to finish some art away from the computer), during probably one of the worst thunder/lightning storms I've ever been in. Luckily, I'm a dude and wasn't nervous (mostly)*. Here's a diagram of my camp sight. That's not an accurate representation of my tent, though I do wish I had the "1930's boy scout manual" version like that.

*look how friendly that cloud was!
