Allister's (second) first birthday party!

This weekend Allister turned ONE. To celebrate we had not one, but TWO parties in her honor. The first (saturday) was at my parent's house for family and friends, and the second (sunday) was for the neighbors. Allister (and her mother and I) had an amazing time. She was so wired from cake she stayed up until 10:30 saturday night (she goes to bed around 7). Spending an entire weekend like this with our family and friends makes it even harder for us to move away. We are definitely going to miss everybody.

Here is a short movie from Allister's (second) first birthday party!
(ps. watch it larger here)

I'll post pictures from both parties very soon.

playing golf with my dad and brother

This past monday I played in a golf tournament with my dad and my brother. Amazingly having only played golf once before (roughly TWELVE years ago) didn't seem to make the rest of the guys on my team nervous. We didn't win. We did have a great time, though. I had one incredible shot, but I won't bore you with the details. Yes I will. Later.

allister's birthday is next weekend!

I can't believe it. Our little brat, who was born just a few short days ago is already turning ONE.

allister's new trick

Allister's newest trick is to put her finger in her nose. Rachel has told her countless times to stop doing it, so now Allister puts her finger in her nose and looks at Rachel and laughs.
