LACK OF SLEEP LEADS TO COMEDY and other updates
As you could probably guess by my last post or two, Rachel and I have had our hands full for the past few days with Allister, the new addition to our family. I think we've just started getting the routine down (sleep, feed, burp, change, "shh shh shh shh", sleep, repeat) and I'll be better about posting now.
The 24th, just four days after Allister was born, I sat down to draw for the first time since she'd been born. It was 3 or 4 in the a.m., and I drew this:

The reason two parts are in pink is that a) she was born on the TWENTIETH, not the 30th. b) since I was drawing this 4 days after she'd been born, after I'd made the initial error of drawing the 30th, I then added four days to that to get (as seen in the second circled part), June 34th.
The second interesting thing that happened on the 24th, was this:

and this has been happening a lot:

Be sure to check out today's comic over at DCist.com here
We're taking a much needed rest from blogging for a day or two while we get used to having a newborn in our home. I'll post some of the drawings I did in the hospital tomorrow.

Here's what you need:

I just finished up a tutorial on DIY screenprinting for a book called "Slow Craft." For obvious reasons I can't post the entire tutorial here, but here is the image that includes everything you'll need to do the project. When the book is available, I'll be sure to link to it. Oh, and the book will be in Chinese.
