Recent art show - DC

For the past three years, I've been honored to be one of the artist's in the Transformer Gallery's benefit auction. Transformer is a non-profit space in DC that actually PAYS it's artists to show there, which is pretty incredible. So, even if nothing sells, the artist walks away with some cash to put towards the many expenses that come up when putting a show together.

This year's auction was incredible and huge. I didn't see all of the sponsors, but one of the big ones was Scion. Here are a few images from the opening:




As you can see, the place was packed (the event was sold-out a few weeks in advance). Both of my works (see top image) sold.

it was. it's some guy's sculpture studio if you can believe it. Very huge.
